Jump Start is a faith-based prison rehabilitation ministry committed to serving men and women inside South Carolina prisons and those who have recently been released.
Ways to Get Involved:
Inside Program | For Those Currently in Prison Inside Volunteers
Support the inside program at a local prison facility by leading a small group and/or teaching class sessions for both men and women.
Commitment: Weekly or bi-weekly
Location: Spartanburg, Pelzer, Enoree, Greenwood

Outside Program | For Those Recently Released
Friday Night Volunteer: Join outside program participants for their weekly program meetings from 6:00-7:30pm.
2nd & 3rd Fridays are life skills training. 4th Friday is communion and worship.

Thursday Night Basketball Volunteer:Join outside program participants for Thursday night basketball.
Commitment: As available

Driver: Provide transportation for outside program participants to and from jobs.
Commitment: Weekly or bi-weekly, as your schedule allows

Admin Support: Provide administrative support and complete data entry.

Outside Mentor: Mentors are paired with an outside program participant. Primarily male mentors needed.
