Partnering with Hunger Corp to help provide disaster relief for local residents and businesses through building and restoration projects, working to bring dignity and sustainability to those who live there.
In September of 2017, Hurricane Maria devastated the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Killing over 2,975 people, it was the deadliest natural disaster in 100 years to affect the United States and its territories. Over the next few years, Puerto Rico was further impacted by a series of earthquakes and the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are partnering with Hunger Corp—a local organization helping those who are most vulnerable after this series of disasters. Many in rural areas have not only lost their homes, but they have no way of getting government funding since they did not have an official home title. Through short-term mission trips, we are showing the love of Christ and serving communities by rebuilding homes, restoring businesses, and working to bring dignity and sustainability to those who live there.
